Vicky is a well-accustomed visitor to the Scottish Highlands where she seeks tranquillity and inspiration. One of her favourite places to see dolphins is Chanonry Point on the Black Isle. Dolphin activity here is influenced by tidal conditions, but shortly after low tide, the tide turns and dolphins start to chase fish in to shore. In January, when most other creatures have retreated to sheltered nests or warmer climes, lively bottlenose dolphins can be found boisterously splashing and leaping in the icy-cold winter sea.
