Limited Edition of 100 Pieces.
Junghans Watch Meister Chronoscope Limited Edition 027/9700.01.
This stunning limited edition Junghans Meister Chronoscope Terrassenbau watch has been released to celebrate the 100th birthday of the company’s factory in Schramberg, an architectural masterpiece designed by Philipp Jakob Manz. Built on a sloping site, the factory was opened in 1918 and it became one of the most spectacular industrial buildings in the country.
Beautifully designed, this Junghans Meister Chronoscope Terrassenbau Limited Edition watch boasts a breathtaking 18 carat gold case and a champagne coloured dial inspired by the stairways of the terrace building which are decorated in a similar beige and white. Meanwhile the green and grey textured alligator leather strap matches the colour of the tiles found on the walls within the factory.
The J880.1 self winding movement has been used to equip the Junghans Meister Chronoscope Terrassenbau watch with a power reserve of 48 hours, a small second hand at 9 o clock, a central stop second, 30 minute counter at 12 o clock, 12 hour counter at 6 o clock and a day date window at 3 o clock. Hard plexiglass with scratch resistant coating is used to protect the front of the timepiece while a solid gold case engraved with a picture of the factory protects the back.
