G-Shock Watch Full Metal Tran Tixxii GMW-B5000TR-9ER. This special model uses titanium material developed for G-SHOCK for the full metal GMW-B5000, finished in an array of colors.
The titanium material is called “Tran Tixxii,” which was jointly developed by CASIO and Nippon Steel Corporation for G-SHOCK over a period about six years. This titanium alloy has all the characteristics of titanium, including being is light and gentle on the skin, with about twice the hardness of pure titanium. Improved hardness makes it possible to create a mirror finish comparable to that of stainless steel, making this the first titanium G-SHOCK with an all-mirror finish.
The case of the watch has a gold ion-plated (IP) finish, and the band and buttons also have an IP finish in red, blue, light gray, dark gray, and gold, colors that are also used for accents on the face.
