B-42 Official Cosmonauts Chronograph Alarm Titanium is a limited edition timepiece that is equipped with Swiss-made F 2001-5 automatic calibre that performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 35 bearing jewels. The movement is certified by Contr̫le Officiel Suisse des Chronom̩tres (COSC) ‰ÛÒ the Swiss institute that tests chronometers. Other characteristics include Incabloc shock absorber and two barrels. Hands, numerals and indices are covered with luminous paint that enhances night time readability. A date display is positioned at 3 o’clock. The chronograph has a 60-second, a 30-minute and a 12-hour register. Elapsed time is measured through the use of the uni-directional, rotating bezel. Additional useful features include flange with alarm scale, alarm on/off indication, pusher protection, screw-down case back with the emblems of Russian space authorities, limitation plate screwed to the side of the case and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
