The design of the Terranaut watches bears a strong resemblance to that of aircraft cockpit instruments. This is complemented by the precision that is typical of our nautical instruments. The Terranaut therefore spans the gap between nautical science and aeronautics between which there are a lot of similarities as far as time measurement is concerned, and not only in terms of its name.
