Often seen but not noted, the salvia is one of the most resilient, trouble free and rewarding flowers a gardener can ever hope to grow. Its origins are tropical and they offer a wonderful display from spring to winter. Select your variety, plant and enjoy. Classified as a perennial, salvias are more often than not, grown as annuals, so little care and attention do they demand. In John Massey’s lifetime ambition to make flowers generally available regardless of the depth of a gardener’s pocket, salvias fit the bill. Emma Bossons opted for the striking bluish-purple variety called Salvia ‘Amistad’, knowing as she did so, that her chosen variety would rest comfortably on a white ground. Dimensions: H 22.50 x W 11.00 x D 11.00 cm. Shape 9/9. Limited Edition of 25.
