Georg Jensen Bernadotte Stainless Steel Tea Infuser, 10015887.
Inspired by riffled lines from the Art Deco period of the 1930s, the Bernadotte collection was originally launched in 1938 and designed by Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte. He was heavily influenced by the functionalist movement, and his sleek and sparingly-decorated style modernised the world of silver while also placing him as one of the most successful Georg Jensen-collaborators ever.
Guaranteed to be a talking point at any tea time, this elegant infuser is as beautiful as it is practical. With its signature grooved handle, the stainless steel ball can be filled with loose tea leaves and placed in a cup or pot to make the perfect brew. The pared-down minimalism of Sigvard Bernadotte’s striking designs from the 1930s were the inspiration for the Bernadotte collection. Details from many of his pieces have been reworked and transferred to more contemporary stainless steel and the result is a series of true modern classics. The tea infuser is made in stainless steel which polished to a mirror finish.
